End of Life Doula & Senior Service of NWMI

End of Life Doulas & Senior Care Services of NW MI, LLC, 501C3 provides compassionate, comprehensive support for seniors and their families throughout the Grand Traverse and Leelanau region. Our nonprofit specializes in senior Home Care, end‑of‑life planning, and end of life bedside support. We also help families get their “ducks in a row” with dignity, clarity, and peace of mind.

Our team includes Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Dementia Care Specialists, Grief Counselors, End‑of‑Life Doulas, Document Specialists, Social Workers, and hands‑on caregivers. Every member of our staff is vetted, experienced, insured, and background‑checked for your confidence and safety.

We provide care wherever it is needed—at home, in hospitals, or within long‑term care facilities. We collaborate closely with hospice and palliative care teams, transportation providers, elder law attorneys, funeral homes, volunteers, and respite caregivers. When other services must step away due to business limitations, we stay.

We are available from one hour to 24‑hour care. Services are private pay, with fees adjusted based on ability to pay, available funds, grants, and "Angel Donations".

Through our Compassion & Grace -Final Journey Home© program we assist you or your loved one in going home for your final journey. Our expert team can facilitate and assist with all the logistics so you can focus on your loved one. We collaborate with the hospital or facility teams to fulfill your desire to be back in the comfort of your home surrounded by your family and pets.

We are committed to community-based education outreach & advocacy. Our specialists speak at senior events, churches, in‑services, and community gatherings to help reduce the stigma around death and dying. We offer up‑to‑date information on legal requirements, decision‑making tools, and end‑of‑life planning resources

We are committed not only to serving our community, but also to strengthening the caregiving workforce in Northwest Michigan. Through grant‑supported programs, we provide meaningful employment opportunities and ongoing professional development for our current team & up-and-coming members.

Our organization continually invests in advanced training and certifications, including:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training, End‑of‑Life Doula certification, Grief Specialist training, Dementia Care certifications & Additional continuing education based on community need. By supporting our caregivers in expanding their skills, we ensure that every individual and family we serve receives the highest level of compassionate, knowledgeable care.
